This Land Is My Land (Framed)
$2,600.00
This painting was inspired by the folk protest song "This Land Is My Land", written by American folk singer Woody Guthrie in 1940 as a critical response to Irving Berlin's "God Bless America." The version most people learned in school is a version that drops the two verses that are critical of the United States. This piece addresses land ownership and self-preservation.
